A MUSICAL TOUR OF THE WORLD Yeager's Airfield, CA |

|
This place might not look like much. But coming from Antarctica, with its spirit of progress and helping in the survival of humanity in difficult climates, we could not not come here. It is Pancho's Happy Bottom Riding Club- and airfield that Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier which led to the Mercury 7 and John Glenn, and the landing on the Moon, and Voyager. This is the birthplace of some of humanity's greatest feats. What a ruin! But what a great place at the same time. |
