Siberia

A distinct feeling of home came over our group as we journeyed north to Siberia, and followed the trans-Siberian Railroad by automobile all the way across southern Siberia to the border with Mongolia. In the middle of it all was this scene of total familiarity, except whereas Antarctica is desolate with no trees except near the University Peak campus heating grid, a man-made environment, in Siberia trees do exist.
