Rwanda's 1994 killing is the biggest massacre since the Second World War. We had to visit it as a place of pilgrimage. Hutu and the Tutsi who are left are now on better terms, although there is still some hostility. "If America can be the United States, why cannot Africa be United States of Africa?" Good question, and it got us thinking about how lucky we are in Antarctica.
